The Association of Interior Native Educators (AINE) seeks to extend membership to individuals supportive of AINE’s mission to provide a voice for Native educators and advocacy for educational issues affecting Alaska Native people.

As a member of AINE, individuals will:

  • Receive a quarterly newsletter
  • Be represented at regional, statewide, national and international events focused on indigenous education issues
  • Receive a discount on AINE materials (10% + shipping)

AINE membership consists of:

  • Certified professional Native educators
  • Honorary members (Elders)
  • Native professionals working in other professional fields
  • Native students pursuing post-secondary education
  • Associate members (representing regional school boards, community school committees, and Native organizations)
  • Affiliated members (non-Natives affiliated with Native education)
